STARTS WITH THE RIGHT FIT
For me to be my most effective, I need to know who I am training, why you’re training and more. You need to know if you like me enough to spend time with me 2-3x per week. It doesn’t take long to do that over the phone, coffee or via zoom.
WHAT’S THE POINT?
Gaining strength, losing body fat, looking better, feeling better, increased mobility and flexibility are all benefits of exercise. Setting measurable, objective goals and hitting them in a safe amount of time is the benefit of having a personal trainer.
OBJECTS IN MOTION STAY…
Your schedule, lifestyle, and goals all play a part in the way I shape a workout program. Exercise can fit in to your day if you allow it. It will be the best part of your day or the perfect start or finish to it. It’s all a mindset and I can help you get there.
EXERCISE MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER
I know from a personal standpoint what exercise and nutrition can do for your mental health. It’s clear as day, ask anyone. Exercise makes you feel better. That’s what made me switch from being a Boston fitness photographer to becoming a personal trainer. It’s all about making people feel good. I’ve tried and enjoyed every group fitness style there is: boot camp, yoga, pilates, barre and more. I’ve trained like a bodybuilder, doing one body part per session 6 days per week. I’ve trained for specific athletic performance in a team environment. I’ve seen results for myself and others in all of these environments. They all worked for the same essential reasons: consistency, safety, intensity and enjoyment level. If you can safely perform at an intensity that triggers muscle growth and enjoy it enough to do it again you will see results. Results are also impacted by sleep, stress and nutrition. All of which can be improved with an added exercise routine. Let me help you get that exercise routine started!
FEELING BETTER IS THE WHOLE POINT
In my experience training at a small personal training studio in Wellesley, I helped several people lose 20+ lbs. I helped several people heal their bodies through exercise, heal frozen shoulders, increase range of motion in joints and more. I helped several people get stronger. I made connections with so many great people. The thing that got me out of bed in the morning was how many people I helped feel better. Feeling better is the whole point. I believe in functional fitness methods so that you can get out of your chair without help, take the groceries inside in one trip and do the fun stuff.
IT DOESN’T NEED TO BE COMPLICATED
Growing up my dad had a blue binder with clippings of exercise routines from bodybuilding magazines in the ’80s. That binder is just as effective then as it is today. It doesn’t need to be complicated, you just need to move your body. Functional fitness is a fancy term and probably the appropriate one for my training style. I want people to be able to move their body easier. That happens by adding muscle. Once we begin working together, I use a combination of strength training via weight lifting, resistance bands, body weight exercises, etc. along with good music and a positive attitude to help keep you on track to hitting your goals. I can give you the knowledge, encouragement, confidence and momentum to make changes with me as your trainer. Or maybe you just need me for a month or two to get you out of the rut and back in your fitness routine.
IT ALL STARTS WITH A CONVERSATION
To set up a meeting, phone call or zoom call you can inquire via email or phone. All exercise programs are tailored to your goals, exercise experience and workout location. Pricing options are impacted by number of sessions purchased and whether you or I provide the space for the workout sessions.
